The May edition of the International Veterinary Vaccinology Network Newsletter is available here.
The newsletter includes reports from World Animal Vaccination Day, the launch of InnoVet-AMR and a meeting of the PPR-Global Research Network. The IVVN currently have three funding opportunities available to our members: laboratory exchange awards (closing date: 1st June), pump-priming awards (closing date: 2nd July) and workshops (open call). We look forward to receiving your applications!
The newsletter also contains news from the wider vaccinology community including an article on why manufacturing a vaccine locally is so important, an article on replicating the brucellosis vaccine prize for other diseases and a report from PARAGONE’s third meeting.
There are many fantastic events coming up in the next few months, including the European Veterinary Immunology Workshop, and the first meeting of the Comparative & Veterinary Immunology Group on ‘Frontiers in Human and Veterinary Antibody Discovery’.
Funding opportunities include VALIDATE catalyst funding, and UKRI Future Leaders Fellowships scheme.
